Abstract :
The state problem faced by all countries, especially in developing countries is the problem of poverty. The province of D.I.Yogyakarta has a relatively high number of poor people among remote areas in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the social safety net policy in poverty alleviation efforts in D.I.Yogyakarta Province. The research data used are time series data from 2016-2020 and cross section data from 5 districts/cities in the D.I.Yogyakarta Province using the Fixed Effects Model (FEM) method. The data presented is obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Province of D.I.Yogyakarta. The results of this study indicate that Social Assistance Funds (BANSOS) has no effect on poverty. Meanwhile, Balancing Fund (DP) and Regional Original Income (PAD) have a negative effect on poverty in the D.I.Yogyakarta Province.
