Abstract :
This study aims to: 1) describe the planning of thematic-based learning (HOTS) 2) how the thematic learning process based on HOTS 3) evaluate the results in thematic-based learning (HOTS). The type of research used in this research is qualitative with descriptive design. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Technical analysis of the data using an interactive analysis model. While the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that SDN Kedungupit 1 Sragen shows that HOTS-based thematic learning planning in the 2013 Curriculum can be done by compiling competencies that not only answer at levels C-1 (knowing), C-2 (understanding), and C-3 (applying), but also at levels C-4 (synthesis/analysis), C-5 (evaluation), and C-6 (creation). in carrying out thematic always refers to the classification of educational goals into the three domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor), then the ideal educational evaluation (should) cover these three domains comprehensively. The results of the evaluation have applied HOTS C1-C5, but the implementation is still not perfect. This is because some students have difficulty achieving creating/making something (C6). The affective aspect is carried out according to the indicators and goes well. While the psychomotor aspect has not been maximized because students have not been able to hone creativity to make or create something. Follow up from the evaluation results to increase C6 additional learning activities every week for grades 4, 5 and 6.
