Abstract :
Hallyu or Korean culture has become very popular and is growing rapidly among youth and adolescents, especially in Indonesia, this has led to consumptive behavior where individuals tend to have the desire to buy goods or follow any activities related to their idols to get satisfaction and pleasure. This study aims to look at the Relationship between Self-Control and Celebrity Worship with Consumptive Behavior in NCT fans. This study uses a correlational qualitative design. The population used in this study was NCT fans set at 100 subjects. The results of the minor hypothesis test indicate that there is a relationship between Self-Control (X1) and Consumptive Behavior (Y), and there is a relationship between Celebrity Worship (X2) and Consumptive Behavior (Y) of NCT Fans. Advice for NCT fans is to develop self-awareness about the financial impact of Consumptive Behavior related to idolization.
