Abstract :
Sukoharjo City is a city of education, the education sector and social life are developing very rapidly. The more developed an area is, the greater the need for facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, a 5-story lecture building was built using a steel structure that refers to SNI 1729: 2020 (Specifications for Structural Steel Buildings). This planning includes floor slabs, stairs, beams, columns, connections, foundations, pedestal columns, and also sloofs. The location of the lecture building is in Pabelan Kartasura with a land site classification including the medium soil category (SD). Earthquake-resistant building with a response modification factor (R) of 8, an earthquake priority factor of Ie with a value of 1.5, concrete quality f'c 30 MPa and steel quality BJ-37. This planning uses ETABS 20 software, Microsoft office 2021, AutoCAD 2022, and Revit 2022. The planning results produce a floor slab with a thickness of 150 mm using a floordeck with a thickness of 1 mm and negative reinforcement (Wiremesh) M10-150, for beam dimensions using the IWF profile 500 x 200 x 10 x 16 and for column dimensions using the KC profile 600 x 200 x 11 x 17. For the foundation, 4 D50 piles are used, the pile cap dimensions are 2500 x 2500 x 1000 mm, the pedestal column dimensions are 1000 x 1000 mm with 20D19 main reinforcement and ?10 - 300 shear reinforcement, and 600 x 300 mm sloof dimensions with 5D19 main reinforcement and ?8 shear reinforcement - 150
