Subjective well-being is a person's way of evaluating their life which includes cognitive and affective components. Subjects of this study were 45 theatre club students who were chosen by using purposive sampling method. The proposed hypothesis of this study was there is a correlation between obedience to Javanese values and subjective well-being among theatre club students in Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The data was then analyzed by using Pearson’s product moment analysis and the coefficient number was 0.227 with the number of significance p = 0.134 (p > 0.05) which means there was no correlation between obedience to Javanese values and subjective well-being among theatre club students in Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
