Abstract :
Endra Purna Irawan, Q100160146, Management of Extracurricular Activities of HizbulWathan in the Development of Character Values in SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta. Postgraduate Education Administration Program Postgraduate School of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta This study aims to describe: 1) preparation of activity programs, 2) preparation of coaches, 3) implementation, 4) indicators of success, and 5) evaluation of extracurricular activities HizbulWathan develops character values in SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta. Types of qualitative research with ethnographic design Data collection techniques: interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity with technical triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis using three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with verification. The results showed: 1) Preparation of HizbulWathan Extracurricular Curriculum at Surakarta Muhammadiyah 4 Vocational High School, consisting of (a) HizbulWathan extracurricular activities are compulsory extracurricular activities, (b) elaboration of school vision, mission, and objectives, (c) Hizbul extracurricular activities program Wathan must be in accordance with the vision, mission, and objectives of the school's Decree, (d) (SK) division of tasks as coach, (e) funds sourced from School Operational Assistance (BOS). 2) Preparation of HizbulWathan Extracurricular Trustees, namely the coach has a certificate as a coach of the hizbulwathan of the Surakarta city and is made a Decree (SK) division of tasks by the principal. 3) The implementation of HizbulWathan Extracurricular Activities is a form of implementation of the work program which is elaborated by the implementation of extracurricular activities to be able to develop students' potential and foster character values. 4) Indicators of Success in Implementing HizbulWathan Extracurricular Activities are a measure of the success of students who are increasingly developing character traits. 5) Evaluation by student waka as extracurricular coordinator and mentor Keywords: Management, Extracurricular, Character, Vocational High School
