Abstract :
This study aims to describe the implementation, constraints, and alternative solutions of the implementation of the value of unity in the Megengan tradition case study community in the Kemiri village of the Kebakkramat sub-district of Karanganyar district. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The object of this research is the is the value of unity. The subject of this researcis is the Kemiri village community. The results showed that the implementation of the value of unity in the Kemiri village of Kebakkramat sub-district of Karanganyar regency by visual means or seeing firsthand how the villagers maintain the Megengan tradition and appreciate the differences that exist, so as to create harmony between residents with one another in carrying out the tradition. Constraints on the implementation of the value of unity in the community in the Megengan tradition in the Kemiri village can be seen from the lack of accountability between one resident and another, residents tend to throw their hands when the division of tasks in the implementation of the Megengan tradition and the youth of the Kemiri village are still often riot in the distribution of portraits. An alternative solution to overcome the constraints of implementing the value of unity in the community in the Megengan tradition in the village of Kemiri in the form of socialization carried out during routine RT meetings regarding the responsibilities of each task by forming a committee organizing the Megengan tradition and forming a security team such as a security guard or Kemiri village security.
