Abstract :
Augmented reality is a technology that can combine virtual objects and the real world into a real environment in real time. AR has been widely used in education and is used as a learning medium to create an interactive and informative teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop an AR application for prayer guidance as a learning medium for students. The method used in this research is R&D. There are several stages in this research, the first is the analysis of data needs. Second, software design using use cases. Third, implementation. Fourth, testing using a software developer perspective taken from several aspects of ISO 25010 software product quality and learning media quality, namely compatibility, performance efficiency, functional suitability, usability, aspects of media feasibility and learning materials. The results of the analysis of the quality of the AR application for prayer guidance on the compatibility aspect of 100%, the efficiency of performance aspect of 85.71%, the functional suitability aspect of 100%, and the usability aspect of 88.56%. In the aspect of media quality, it is 96.97% and the results of the media validation test are 0.964 so that the media validation test is declared valid. In the aspect of material feasibility, it is 89.99% and the results of the material validation test are 0.875 so that the material validation test is declared valid. In order to know the difference in the level of understanding and student learning outcomes towards learning media, students were given a pre-test and post-test, so that the average score of students obtained from the pre-test was 41.9667 which increased to 85.5667 from the post-test results. Thus, from all the tests that have been carried out, the AR application of prayer guidance guidance is included in the very good criteria so that it is very feasible to be used as an alternative learning media that can improve student understanding and learning outcomes
