Abstract :
The Covid-19 virus does not only have an impact on health, but also has an impact on the country's economy. In the case of COVID-19, the MUI has issued a fatwa regarding concessions in the use of zakat, infaq and shadaqah assets to help overcome the impact of covid-19 contained in the MUI Fatwa No. 23 of 2020 recommending that the Amil Zakat Agency/Institution prioritize tasharuf, especially for the benefit of the affected mustahiq. COVID-19. Zakat is a form of worship related to social values in social life. The problems examined in this study are how Yusuf Qardhawi's views on the use of zakat for the prevention of disease outbreaks and how the MUI fatwa analysis on tasharuf zakat in MUI fatwa No. 23 of 2020 concerning the use of zakat assets infaq shadaqah from the perspective of Yusuf Qardhawi. This type of research uses normative legal research, namely legal research conducted by examining library research. The results of this study indicate that using zakat, infaq and shadaqah assets to overcome disease outbreaks can be said to be a form of tasharuf zakat which is included in the asnaf sabilillah category in the study of Yusuf Qardhawi's perspective. The study of "MUI Fatwa No. 23 of 2020" on the use of zakat, infaq and shadaqah assets for the prevention of the COVID-19 outbreak and its effects, according to Yusuf Qardhawi's perspective as a form of helping the religion of Allah, is aimed at Muslims who are directly affected by the epidemic and for the general benefit of the people in overcoming the impact. from the COVID-19 pandemic.
