Abstract :
The rapid economic development in Indonesia, with the existing innovations, will encourage the Company to produce better financial performance than the previous period. The purpose of this study was to examine: (1) the effect of the current ratio on asset returns, (2) the effect of the debt to equity ratio on asset returns, and (3) the effect of total asset turnover on asset returns. The population used in this study are Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index70 (JII70) for the 2019 period which is divided into two semesters, as many as 70 companies and the sample used is 67 companies. The analytical methods used for this research are: Classical Assumption test, Normality test, Multicollinearity test, Autocorrelation test, Chow test, Hausman test, Lagrange Multiplier Test, F test (Simultaneous), T test (Partial), Coefficient of Determination. The results showed that the Current Ratio had a positive but not significant effect on return on assets, the Debt to Equity Ratio had a positive but not significant effect on return on assets, and Total Asset Turnover had a positive and significant effect on return on assets.
