Abstract :
Along with the advancements in appropriate technology, many tools have been found such as heating stoves that are used as heating objects such as the rear forward driving gear. After being heated with temperatures of 550 oC and 850 oC. The purpose of this study is to determine the value of hardness in Yamaha Vixion rear wheel drive gear. This research method uses Brinell hardness test equipment. The Brinell test results that make the material harder are with a temperature of 850 oC and cooled with a median cooler SAE 30 oil gets an average value of 411 kg / mm2
