Abstract :
Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik berjenis kelamin berbeda; 2) Mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik berjenis kelamin berbeda; 3) mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik berjenis kelamin berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest non equivalent control group design dengan pola faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Gowa. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif diperoleh dari tes essay keterampilan berpikir kritis dan tes essay keterampilan berpikir kreatif sementara data hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari tes pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tidak terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik berjenis kelamin berbeda antara yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran mind mapping dan konvensional; 2) tidak terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik berjenis kelamin berbeda antara yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran mind mapping dan konvensional; 3) tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik berjenis kelamin berbeda antara yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran mind mapping dan konvensional. Abstract: This research is a quasi-experimental study which aims to: 1) Know the effect of mind mapping learning strategies on the critical thinking skills of different sex students; 2) Knowing the effect of mind mapping learning strategies on the creative thinking skills of different sex students; 3) knowing the effect of mind mapping learning strategies on cognitive learning outcomes of different sex students. This study used a pretest-posttest non equivalent control group design with a 2 x 2 factorial pattern. The study population was all students of class XI of SMA 9 Gowa. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data on critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills are obtained from essay tests of critical thinking skills and essay tests of creative thinking skills while cognitive learning outcomes data are obtained from multiple choice tests. The results showed that 1) there were no differences in the critical thinking skills of students of different sexes between those taught with mind mapping and conventional learning strategies; 2) there is no difference in creative thinking skills of students of different sexes between those who are taught with mind mapping and conventional learning strategies; 3) there is no difference between the cognitive learning outcomes of different sex students between those taught with mind mapping and conventional learning strategies.
