Abstract :
are looking for the goods or services they need via the internet; therefore, the more platforms that provide goods or services have emerged to meet the needs of the community. Fastwork.id is the most popular freelancer platform in Indonesia. Competing with the many freelancers who advertise services on Fastwork.id, you could not just use ordinary communication. The more creative a message is sent, the more likely it will be heard and noticed. This study aimed to describe the creative communication carried out by graphic designer freelancers in utilizing the Fastwork.id media platform.This study used a qualitative descriptive method where the researcher would describe the data interviews with several informants who understand well the problems to be studied. The main informants in this study were 3 people who were selected from freelancers and there were 2 additional informants from service users at Fastwork.id. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used was qualitative and narrated according to the results of the study through data reduction, data verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study showed that the creative communication of graphic design freelancers at Fastwork.id was applied in advertising activities and communicating with clients in discussing a design brief. Creative communication was done by taking persuasive creative approaches from freelancers to persuade, convince and understand what the client wants.
