Abstract :
Environmental problems that often occur are waste. Garbage is a part of all community activities. Therefore, waste management from the source is very important. The government has also implemented a policy in managing 3R-based waste, where the community all participates in this waste management process. This 3R-based waste management makes people aware that waste is not something that can no longer be used or that is useless, but that waste can have high economic value if managed properly and correctly. This 3R-based waste management will later be managed by Non-Governmental Organizations (KSM) in every area where there is a 3R TPS.
This study aims to describe the implementation of 3R-based waste management at 3R TPS and to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of 3R-based waste management implementation.
This type of research uses qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The focus of the research comes from the sources studied and from the data obtained. Informants are researchers interviewing actors who carry out and observe these activities. In the process of this research using purposive sampling technique. The data technique was carried out by means of Interview, Observation and Documentation. The research location is at TPS 3R Bandungrejosari, Bandungrejosari Village, Sukun District, Malang City and the Malang City Environment Service.
