Abstract :
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) has increased every year. How to interact
and understand the surrounding environment needs attention. Every activity
with visual representations ranging from objects, activities, learning and
daily activities with the aim of visual support techniques can be generalized
by children with ASD, when interacting and communicating with their
environment. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use
of visual support and clinical improvement in children with ASD. This study
involved visual media by describing how visual media is able to develop
emotional intelligence in children with autism. And describe what factors are
inhibiting the application of visual media in developing emotional intelligence
of children with autism. Data analysis techniques to calculate the validity of
the media, student responses and the effectiveness of learning media.
