Abstract :
Background: Pregnancy examinations and delivery assistance by health personnel are
important indicators of reproductive health. Doctor and nurse services are considered in
deciding to give birth. Strategic location also affects a person to decide to give birth. This
is related to the patient's decision in choosing the place of delivery. This study aims to
determine the factors associated with the decision to choose the place of delivery for
obstetric and obstetrics polyclinic patients at RSI Sultan Agung Semrang. Methods: This
type of research is quantitative non-experimental with a cross sectional design. Total
population 54 respondents, the total sample was 30 respondents with the Consecutive
sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet. Univariate data
analysis using Frequency Distribution and bivariate data analysis using Rank Spearmen
test. Results: factors of good doctor service at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang were 18
people (60%), factors of good nurse service at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang were 18
people (60%), factors good place in RSI Sultan Agung Semarang were 16 people (53,
3%) and 16 mothers who decided to give birth at RSI Sultan Agung Semarang (53.3%).
The result of statistical test p value = 0.000 with value of r count = 0.611 factor of doctor
and nurse service and p value = 0.000 with value of r count = 0.988 factor of place..
Conclusion: H0 is rejected, Ha is accepted so that there is a relationship between factors
of doctor service, nurse service, and place with the decision to choose the place of
delivery for pregnant women in the obstetric clinic of RSI Sultan Agung Semarang
