Abstract :
The Indonesian language is significantly different from the English language in terms of learning. Although Indonesian sentences can have singular or plural subjects and can take place in the present, the past, or even the future, the verbs are not altered. English verbs, on the other hand, are always subject- dependent. The researcher used the quantitative research method. This research design was consisted of one grup class. The researcher used the purposive sampling technique. The number of sample was 34 students in eleventh grade in SMA Negeri 2 Ungaran. The data was gained from test. The result of the test showed that the types of errors are omission, addition, misinformation, and misordering. The total errors types are 76 and the dominant error is omission, in percentage 38% or 29 total errors. Then, the contribution did this research to teaching descriptive text is because subject-verb agreement is taught in English curriculum. It is possible that the students can produce perfectly correct sentences and understand the rules of grammar, especially in subject-verb agreement.
