Abstract :
This research aims to test whether research and development expense, marketing
expense and size of the company againts the financial performance. The chosen
strategy of the company aims to increase financial performance. Good financial
performance will give benefit to internal and external parties. This research will be
conducted on public national private bank registered on the Indonesian Stock
Exchange from 2014 to 2016. Total sample was 66 financial reports of 22 banks.
This research used multiple regression analysis method. The result shows that
research and development expense and marketing expense provide a positive
influence of financial performance.
