Abstract :
(ABSTRAKSI) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh antara Media Audio - Visual dan Metode Belajar Kooperatif terhadap kemampuan mengingat serta untuk melihat perbedaan pengaruh antara media Audio -Visual dan metode Belajar Kooperatif terhadap kemampuan mengingat materi pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode audio-visual berpengaruh secara positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat siswa SD pada mata pelajaran IPS berdasarkan hasil analisis data gain score audio-visual diperoleh angka t = 2,496 (P=0,022). Pengaruh positif itu tergambar juga dari besarnya mean kelompok pada gain score kelompok audio- visual sebesar 3,3500 (N=20) dibanding dengan mean kelompok pada gain score kelompok belajar metode konvensional yakni 2,2500 (N=20). Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa metode kooperatif berpengaruh secara positif meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat siswa SD pada mata pelajaran IPS berdasarkan perolehan angka t = 4,313 (P=0,00). Pengaruh positif itu tergambar dari besarnya mean kelompok pada gain score kelompok metode kooperatif sebesar 5,4500 (N=20) dibanding dengan mean kelompok pada gain score kelompok belajar metode konvensional yakni 2,2500 (N=20). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode kooperatif memiliki pengaruh lebih positif dibandingkan dengan metode audio-visual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengingat siswa SD bidang studi IPS. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data gain score audio- visual dan kooperatif ditemukan perbedaan sebesar t = 3, 67 (p=0,003). Metode kooperatif terbukti lebih efektif dengan mean kelompok lebih besar yaitu 5, 4500 (N=20) dibanding dengan mean kelompok pada audio-visual sebesar 3, 3500 (N=20). (ABSTRACT) This research aims to find influence between Audio-Visual Media and Cooperative Learning Method toward ability of remembering and to see different influence between Audio Visual-Media and Cooperative Learning Method toward the ability of remembering lesson material. The result of the research indicates that the Audio -Visual method has positive effect in improving the ability of remembering of elementary school students in IPS subject based on analysis result of Audio-Visual gain score data, it is found that t = 2,496 (P = 0,022). The positive effect is also drawn from the rate of group mean in the gain score of Audio-Visual group, that is 3,3500 (N = 20) compared with the group mean in the gain score of conventional learning method group, that is 2,2500 (N = 20). The result of data analysis shows that the cooperative method has positive effect in improving the ability of remembering of the elementary school students in IPS subject based on achievement rate t = 4, 313 (P = 0,00). The positive effect is drawn from the rate of group mean in the gain score of group of cooperative method, that is 5,4500 (N = 20) compared with the group mean in the gain score of learning group of conventional method, that is 2,2500 (N = 20) The result of the research indicates that the cooperative method has more positive effect if it is compared with Audio-Visual method in improving the ability of remembering of elementary school students in IPS subject. This can be seen from the difference of result of data analysis of the Audio -Visual and cooperative gain score, with t = 3,67 (p = 0,003). Cooperative method is more effective with the bigger group mean, that is 5,4500 (N = 20) compared with group mean of Audio Visual, that is 3,3500 (N = 20).
