Abstract :
(ABSTRAKSI) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi terhadap safety talk dengan safety behavior pada karyawan di PT Adaro Indonesia. Subjek penelitian adalah karyawan PT Adaro Indonesia yang bekerja di area kerja Kelanis, Kabupaten Barito Selatan, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah persepsi terhadap safety talk. Variabel dependen pada penelitian ini adalah safety behavior dan variabel interaksi pada penelitian ini adalah masa kerja. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi terhadap safety talk dengan safety behavior. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala persepsi tehadap safety talk dan skala safety behavior. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode korelasi product moment dari Pearson dan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi terhadap safety talk dengan safety behavior (r= 0,443; p < 0,01) sehingga hipotesis diterima. Tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat safety behavior antara karyawan dengan masa kerja yang relatif baru dan sudah lama. Sumbangan efektif persepsi terhadap safety talk dengan safety behavior sebesar 19,6%. (ABSTRACT) This study aim to find out correlation between perception toward safety talk with safety behavior the employees of PT Adaro Indonesia. Subject of this study were employees of PT Adaro Indonesia that work at Kelanis site, located at South Barito regency, Central Kalimantan province. The independent variable in this study is perception toward safety talk. The dependent variable is safety behavior and the interaction variable is time of work. Hypothesis that being proposed by this study is: there is positive correlation between perception toward safety talk with safety behavior. Measure instrument in this study are using perception toward safety talk scale and safety behavior scale. Data are being analyzed using product moment correlation from Pearson and shows that correlation between perception toward safety talk with safety behavior is significantly positive (r= 0,443; p < 0,01), so that the hypothesis are being accepted. No difference significant levels of safety behavior between employees with short time of work and employees with long time of work. Statistic shows that contribution from perception toward safety talk with safety behavior is as big as 19,6%.
