Abstract :
The emergence of Covid-19 made da’wah (the act of inviting or calling people to embrace Islam) can no longer be done face to face. Therefore, the practices of da'wah have been done virtually through the social media. One of the social media used for da'wah is Instagram through the posts that are displayed. This study aims to determine the da'wah messages related to Covid-19 and the categorization of da'wah messages on the @lensamu and @nahdlatululama Instagram accounts, and to find out the similarities and differences in the messages of da'wah in posts on Instagram accounts @lensamu and @nahdlatululama. This study uses a qualitative content analysis method. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the @lensamu and @nahdlatululama Instagram accounts. The results of this study are that there are 10 posts on Instagram @lensamu during March-May 2020 related to Covid-19 with details of 3 posts with messages of faith, 2 posts of moral messages and 5 posts of sharia which are categorized as 4 posts of shalat (prayers) and 1 post of thaharah prayers. Meanwhile, Instagram @ nahdlatululama has 7 posts of sharia messages with details of 2 thaharah prayers, 4 prayer services and 1 muamalah (law). The comparison and similarity is that Instagram @lensamu is more active in posting about Covid-19 of various kinds of messages, while @nahdlatululama posts less about Covid-19, and mostly posts about sharia messages. The da'wah message delivered by @lensamu tends to be to-the-point. The written sentences are also very short and clear. While the Instagram account @nahdlatululama in the da'wah message that was posted was explained in a more detailed way. Instagram @lensamu and @nahdlatululama have something in common, namely conveying da'wah messages related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
