Abstract :
Welding Positioner Rotary Table Type is a tool in the process of welding
around tubular and square workpieces using automatic and semi-automatic
operations that can rotate back and forth, with the position of the welding table can
be set at 0° (Vertical) and 90° (Horizontal) positions.
The tool design and design process begins with designing the frame parts,
table discs, chucks, center axles, UCP and UCF bearings, reducer gearboxes,
electric motors, rotation handles, horizontal shafts and rotation angle regulators,
additional gears and part assembly processes.
The Welding Positioner Rotary Table Type tool has three frame parts, namely
the main frame, base frame, and wing frame with dimensions of 770 x 600 x 920
mm (LxWxH), using an electric motor drive and a speed reducer, a speed reducer
and additional gear. In the frame load simulation using the stress analysis feature
with a maximum loading of 25 kg, the results obtained are a safety factor of 15 ul,
Von misses stress of 1.54 Mpa, and a displacement of 0.0056 mm. It can be
concluded that the frame with maximum loading is still safe for the safety of the
welder during the welding process.
