Abstract :
ABSTRAK Pendidikan karakter merupakan upaya menanamkan nilai karakter kebajikan (virtue values) dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang unggul. Melalui kurikulum PAI proses penanaman nilai karakter peserta didik di sekolah dapat dikembangkan dengan efektif. Manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter merupakan pengelolaan pendidikan yang tersistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan: 1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di SMA N 5 Mataram dan SMA Muhamadiyah Mataram, 2) Implementasi manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter di SMA N 5 Mataram dan SMA Muhamadiyah Mataram, dan 3) Implikasi manajemen kurikulum PAI bagi pembinaan karakter siswa di SMA N 5 Mataram dan SMA Muhamadiyah Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus dan rancangan penelitian multikasus. Sedangkan teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi (observation), wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), dan dokumentasi (documentation). Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan comparative constant analysis melalui dua tahap, yaitu analisis data kasus individu (individual case analysis), dan analisis data lintas kasus (cross-case analysis). Pengecekan data dilakukan melalui uji kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan di sekolah adalah nilai karakter yang berorientasi pada: pertama peningkatan mutu akademik, yakni berupa: menghargai prestasi, disiplin, berpikiran maju, dan kerja keras. Kedua, peningkatan kesadaran beragama, berupa: religius, toleransi, dan peduli sosial. 2) Implementasi manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter menggunakan pendekatan sistemik, humanistic dan integratif dalam perencanaan, pengorganiasian, pelaksanaan dengan model parallel dan membutuhkan power strategy. Penanaman nilai karakter melalui pendekatan habitualisasi yang diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan yang terprogram baik intra maupun ekstrakurikuler. Dalam penilaian, digunakan pendekatan autentik dengan kontrol langsung. 3) Implikasi internal: meningkatnya prestasi akademik dan non akademik, tersedianya fasilitas pendukung, sistem pengelolaan kurikulum berbasis karakter, terciptanya budaya religius di lingkungan sekolah. Dari sisi eksternal, adanya keberterimaan lulusan di lingkungan masyarakat, pelabelan positif dari masyarakat, kepercayaan masyarakat meningkat. Temuan formal penelitian ini adalah: manajemen kurikulum PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter model parallel humanistik integratif. ABSTRACT Character education is an effort to internalize character values to build excellent student character. Internalization process of religious character values toward student of school is implemented affectively. Through Islamic education curriculum is management of Islamic Religion education based on character is a systemic education management. This research is intended to find out:1) character values developed at senior high school 5 Mataram and Senior high School of Muhammadiyah Mataram. 2) Implementation of curriculum management of Islamic religion education based on character education at senior high school 5 Mataram and Senior high school of Muhammadiyah Mataram. 3). Curriculum management implication of Islamic religion education for character building at senior high school 5 Mataram and Senior high school of Muhammadiyah Mataram. This research used qualitative approach with case study and multicases design. Data were collected with observation, indepth interview and documentation. Then, data were analyzed with comparative constant analysis from individual case analysis and cross case analysis. Trustworthines of data is decided by credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability. This research shows that: 1) character values developed at school are directed to defend: achievement, excellence, descipline, work hard, and tolerance. School also tends to develop religious school, (school religion), accentuate religious character values, forward thinking, work hard and social care. 2) implementation of curriculum planning is done with systemic integrative approach, curriculum organization and action is applied with parallel model, implementation strategy is power strategy, habitualization and integrative, design, programmed approach. Then, evaluation used is authentic assessment with direct control. 3) internal implication has effect toward school policy, curriculum management system based on character, religious culture which is created at school, attainment of high achievement. Then, external implications are: social legitimation where outcome is received well by his community, reputation of school, improvement of social trust this. This research found: curriculum management of Islamic religious education based on character education with integrative, humanistic and parallel model.
