ABSTRACT Marriage without idah period for woman who unregistered divorced in Landak Village Tanah Merah districts Bangkalan Madura, is an action deemed legitimate and allowed. As one of them is done by H.S. she divorced with her husband T.B after being abandoned for one year and three months to Malaysia. Whereas the Madurese, especially Landak society are obedient to their religion, this is as Hamka said in his book "Ghiroh". However, with the social reality, as if refuted about religious obidience of Madurese, especially Landak society. This research aimed to describe the focus of the problem to be studied. 1) How is the social construction of women who married without idah period?, 2) What is the opinion of social construction of religious figures and society about marriage without iddah period in Landak Village, Tanah Merah districts, Bangkalan, Madura? This research uses qualitative approach with case study design / empiric. Data was collected by interview technique, and documentation. Data analysis technique begins with checking the data validity by using triangulation of source data, presentation of data, analysis with social construction Peter L. Berger, and conclusion. The result of this research reveal that: 1. The social construction of women who get married without idah i.e. the first, there is an ideal motive, it?s the awareness of marriage without iddah period is being the cause of their interest and faith. So that they believe that the action can change their reality life which is difficult to pursued alone. The second, there is a practical motive, it?s a marriage without idah that causes a sense of solidity in the family, keep the
