ABSTRACT Strategy is an effort of teachers in implementing the learning plan, using a wide range of learning components that can affect learners achieve the goals set. SMAN 2 Batu is one of the top schools. In order to realize SMAN 2 Batu as an institution of quality education, then in daily activity steps supporting components SMAN 2 Batu framed within a work order harmonic ranging from school leaders, school boards, teachers, employees to students with structure organization. The purposes of this study are first, to understand the strategy of PAI teacher in planning the planting of tolerance values. Second, understand the strategy of planting PAI teacher in implementing the values of tolerance, thirdly, to understand the teacher evaluation PAI in cultivating values of tolerance and its impact on learners, conducted at SMAN 2 Batu. This study uses qualitative research approach with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. And the checking the validity of the data was performed using data triangulation, triangulation of methods and sources. The results showed that: first, in planning the development of tolerance values PAI teacher plan learning strategies, including approaches, methods and techniques that have been adjusted to the learning objectives, prepare a medium of learning, learning resources and plan an evaluation to determine the extent to which students understand learning later designed in the form of RPP. Second, in the implementation of the development of tolerance, PAI teachers use cooperative learning approaches, methods and techniques of problem solving tasks, rool play, discussion, question and answer and lectures. Besides, teachers PAI also use the infrastructure, such as LCD and others. Thirdly, evaluation of teachers PAI in the development of tolerance covered all aspects of assessment, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. While the impact of the development of tolerance to the value of learners as a whole can be viewed their harmony and fraternal shown by every learner that is, without favoritism by respecting differences ABSTRAK Strategi merupakan usaha guru dalam melaksanakan rencana pembelajaran, mengunakan berbagai macam komponen pembelajaran agar dapat mempengaruhi peserta didik mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. SMAN 2 Batu merupakan salah satu sekolah unggulan. Dalam rangka mewujudkan SMAN 2 Batu sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang bermutu, maka dalam aktivitas sehari-hari gerak langkah komponen-komponen pendukung SMA Negeri 2 Batu dibingkai dalam sebuah tata kerja yang harmonis mulai dari pimpinan sekolah, dewan sekolah, guru-karyawan hingga siswa dengan struktur organisasi.
