ABSTRACT The issue of cultivation of character values in the learning process in schools is still a problem that continues to be discussed. It is because they have not been able to form a religious and social character.Many problems such as the students were involved in the brawl, criminal acts, theft, misuse of drugs, teasing, lack of care for the environment, and the lack of courtesy to the teacher. It is necessary to internalize religious values, one of which relates to the formation of social attitudes that the students have a strong and caring ruh (soul) who can run what has been ordered by the religious. This study aimed to describe the strategy of internalization of religious values and their impact on social attitudes of students in SMA Laboratory of Malang University and Brawijaya Smart School. There are three things that are the focus of research, namely (1) the religious values internalized at Islamic learning, (2) the internalization strategies of religious values on Islamic learning, (3) the impacts of this internalization learning to students' social attitudes. This study used a qualitative approach with case studyand multi-site design. Techniques of collecting data throughinterviews, observation and documentation.Data analysis techniques with data reduction display and then draw of conclusions. And to check the validity of the data used triangulation of data that includes data source triangulation and triangulation of methods. The results of this study were (1) the religious values developed in SMA Laboratory of Malang University and SMA Brawijaya Smart Schooll includereligious values: faith, piety, sincerity, patience, honesty and social values are caring, tolerant, and courtesy. (2)the internalization strategyof religious values in SMA Laboratory of Malang University and Brawijaya Smart School aremethodeof recognition, appreciation, deepening, habituation, and practice. (3) The impact of this internalization in student?s social attitudes in SMA Laboratory of Malang University and SMA Brawijaya Smart School are to train these values: respecting teachers, familiarity withfriends, awareness of other people affected by disaster, tolerant of other religions, and obey the rules. ABSTRAK Penanaman nilai karakter dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah sampai saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan, karena dipandang belum mampu membentuk karakter religius dan sosial. Banyaknya permasalahan seperti pelajar yang terlibat dalam tawuran, tindakan kriminal, pencurian, penyalahgunaan obat-obat terlarang, mengganggu teman, kurangnya peduli terhadap lingkungan, dan kurangnya sopan santun kepada guru.
