ABSTRACT Education could not separates from problem that occurs in it. As we know the problems in education do not appear from one aspect only. Thailand is one of country in the Southeast Asia that mostly embrace the Buddhism religion. Those three regions in South Thailand are known well had a troubled and unsafety from conflict but Islamic Educations are many found out over there. In fact the schools need the safety place? then how the condition of Islamic Education and what kind of problems which would happened over there. The aims of this research are (1) describing the condition of Islamic Education in Islamic School Phattana Wittaya Yala Thailand and (2) describing the problems Islamic Education in Islamic School Phattana Wittaya Yala Thailand. In achievement the aims above? applied the qualitative research approach with the research design as case study. There are three chosen primary informant and the methods for collecting data are observation? interview and documentation. To analyze the data validation applied the domain analysis? taxonomy analysis and componential analysis. The results showed that (1) the state of Islamic religious education in Islamic schools Phattana Wittaya yala thailand have a concept of integration between academic education and Islamic education and has four principal material is then divided into branches of subjects, compulsory subjects of the government on Islamic religious education there 8 namely: the Quran and tafsir, fiqh, hadith, faith, history, Arabic, Malay language, morality. Ideal basic Islamic religious education is the Koran and the hadith and follow the Shafi'i fiqh, while its operational base is the education curriculum in 2546 (in Thailand) and updated in 2550 from the Ministry of Education thailand. The purpose of Islamic religious education in this school is to educate and teach a Muslim in order to be a good statesman to prepare his soul to the afterlife (2) Problems of Islamic religious education in schools Phattana Islam Wittaya school is the curriculum changes fast, the absence of special teachers who are experts in the subject areas the Malay language, teachers are more concerned with textbooks from the curriculum, the security in the area surrounding the school is not guaranteed so ketikastatus state-prone and unsafe then learning in schools were closed, the issue of language in education of students, especially Arabic, the problems in infrastructure is the process of internet usage as irresponsible, and the relationship between the community and the schools there is a lack in particular in relation modek instructive because it happened two times in an academic year, when enrollment and graduation only.
