ABSTRACT Environmental damage has increased, based on data from the WWF (World Wide Fun) at least 2% or about 1.1 million hectares of Indonesian forests reduced each year. Whereas the Ministry of Forestry declared that the 42 hectares of 130 hectares of the Indonesian forests have been damaged. The envinronmental damage shows that Indonesian forests were in a harmful condition, so that all elements of society have to be aware of the loving environment. Therefore, Islamic Education must take part to realize the loving environment as a form of implementation the mandate as the Caliph on the earth. Islamic natural school has been choosed as the basic education which has Islamic concept for the environment to create generation who love the environment and prepare to be Caliph on the earth. The research aims are: (1) to describe the model of Islamic education based on environmental education at Islamic Natural Elementary School ?Islamic Center? Ponorogo, (2) to describe the problems for Islamic education based on environmental education, (3) to describe how long the the succes was gotten by Islamic Natural Elementary School ?Islamic Center? Ponorogo. The research used qualitative approach with the descriptive type. Data collection methods were observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the model of Miles and Huberman included data reduction, data display and conclusion. Validity checking method is triangulation of sources and methods. The research findings showed that: (1) the model of Islamic education based on environmental education at Islamic Natural Elementary School ?Islamic Center? Ponorogo covered in two aspects, namely (a) integrated in the subjects of Islamic education, in this aspect of Islamic education is integrated with the environment materials but implemented as Islamic education learning in general, (b) contained in natural activities, in this aspect of natural activities designed and implemented various values of Islamic Education in order to realize the goal of Islamic education, (2) The problem is the less of educational staff who has been competent at natural school development, so the comparison studies held to plan the school plan next years, (3) The succeses was gotten by Islamic Natural Elementary School ?Islamic Center? Ponorogo are products of plantation such as vegetables and fruits, and also recycle comodity for decoration or sale. However, the students have the health lifestyle. ABSTRAK Kerusakan lingkungan semakin meningkat, berdasarkan data dari WWF (World Wide Fun) setidaknya 2% atau sekitar 1,1 juta hektar dari hutan Indonesia berkurang setiap tahunnya. Sedangkan dari Kementerian Kehutanan menyatakan bahwa 42 hektar dari 130 hektare hutan Indonesia telah rusak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hutan Indonesia berada dalam keadaan berbahaya, sehingga semua elemen masyarakat harus sadar akan cinta lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, Pendidikan Islam turut serta mewujudkan kecintaan lingkungan sebagai wujud pelaksanaan amanah sebagai Khalifah dimuka bumi. Salah satunya adalah melalui Madrasah Ibtidaiya
