ABSTRACT One of the tasks that must be carried from the family members in daily family life is the decision making as a process of selecting a course of action as a way to solve a particular problem, or a conscious effort to determine the alternatives of various alternatives to solve the problem. beliefs held by people around that a husband or wife who the neptu or the amount of market day higher, he was dominant in the family, more dominant influence in decision-making, even if Neptu higher than your partner, then it will certainly prevail in the dispute, strife, or other conflict with a partner. In this study, there are two formulation of the problem, namely: 1). How view community figures to influence the amount of Neptu against the domination of decision-making in the household in the hamlet Pule Village Tanjunggunung Jombang District of Peterongan ?, 2). How influence of such beliefs for society Hamlet Village Pule Tanjunggunung Peterongan District of Jombang? This study classified empirical research using qualitative approach, this research data sources obtained from direct observation and interviews with community leaders as the primary data, as well as from litelatur that fit the theme as secondary data. Results of this study indicate, that in view of Hamlet Pule community to influence the amount of Neptu for decision making in the household there who believe and some do not. The factors that affect the public confidence in the dominance of decision-making in the household is the first; Existed since time immemorial / heritage, Second; Actually occurred, third; For people who do not believe still feel the influence of these beliefs. Although the overall Pule village community citizens to convert to Islam, but did not diminish his belief regarding the impact of the calculation and the market, it can be seen confidence or belief in the dominance of decision-making for the husband or wife who has a higher Neptu. ABSTRAK Salah satu tugas yang harus diemban dari anggota keluarga dalam kehidupan keluarga sehari-hari adalah pengambilan keputusan sebagai suatu proses pemilihan suatu arah tindakan sebagai cara untuk memecahkan sebuah masalah tertentu, atau usaha sadar untuk menentukan satu alternatif dari berbagai alternatif untuk memecahkan masalah. kepercayaan yang dianut oleh masyarakat sekitar bahwa suami atau istri yang neptunya atau jumlah pasaran harinya lebih tinggi, dialah yang dominan di dalam keluarganya, lebih dominan untuk berpengaruh dalam pengambilan keputusan, bahkan jika neptu lebih tinggi dari pasangan, maka dapat dipastikan akan menang dalam perselisihan, percekcokan, maupun konflik lain dengan pasangan. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua rumusan masalah, yaitu : 1). Bagaimana pandangan tokoh masyarakat terhadap pengaruh jumlah neptu terhadap dominasi pengambilan keputusan dalam rumah tangga di Dusun Pule Desa Tanjunggunung Kecamatan Peterongan Kabupaten Jombang?, 2).Bagaimana pengaruh keyakinan tersebut bagi masyarakat Dusun Pule Desa Tanjunggunung Kecamatan Peterongan Kabupaten Jombang? Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian empiris yang menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif, sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari observasi langsung serta wawancara kepada tokoh masyarakat sebagai data primer, serta dari litelatur yang sesuai dengan tema sebagai data sekunder.
