ABSTRACT In the current era of globalization, The Company wants more Community attention to activities that can minimize pollution and to use natural Resources effectively and efficiently, because consumers currently do not focus solely on price, quality and service, but also on the company's business activity, whether the company cares for the environment so it has the stability to sustainability and give added value to the company in the face of global market competition. This research aims to know the impact of the implementation of the environmental management system (ISO 14001) against the profitability and growth of the company's stock before and after obtaining certification. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in The study Thar is a company listing in the 2011-2015 period JII and has obtained ISO certification 14001. Research samples obtained through the method of purposive sampling where there were 9 companies that meet the criteria for the selection of the sample. The data was tested using statistical methods test of normality then conducted Test hypotheses with different test (test t) using analysis of Paired Sample T-test and assist SPSS version 17.0. The results showed that there was no significant difference in profitability (ROA, ROE, NPM) and growth stocks (Abnormal Return) between before and after obtaining ISO 14001 certification. There is no difference made possible several things: 1) was too short a period of research. 2) company acquired the certification just to meet the demands of business only. 3) there are many factors that affect the growth of sales and are not taken into consideration, such as the influence of economic and political conditions in world trade. 4) competitive business competition in the era of globalization is causing consumers have many choices of products with prices that are more affordable and the quality is almost the same level. ABSTRAK Di era globalisasi saat ini, masyarakat menghendaki agar perusahaan lebih perhatian terhadap kegiatan yang dapat meminimalkan polusi dan menggunakan sumber daya alam secara efektif dan efisien, karena konsumen saat ini tidak hanya berfokus pada harga, kualitas dan pelayanan, namun juga terhadap kegiatan bisnis perusahaan, apakah perusahaan peduli terhadap lingkungan sehingga memiliki stabilitas untuk keberlanjutannya dan memberi nilai tambah bagi perusahaan dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan sistem manajemen lingkungan (ISO 14001) terhadap profitabilitas dan pertumbuhan saham perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah memperoleh sertifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan yang listing di JII periode 2011-2015 dan telah memperoleh sertifikasi ISO 14001. Sampel penelitian diperoleh melalui metode purposive sampling dimana terdapat 9 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria pemilihan sampel. Data diuji menggunakan metode statistik uji normalitas kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji beda (uji t) menggunakan analisis Paired Sample T-test dan dibatu SPSS versi 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada profitabilitas (ROA, ROE, NPM) dan pertumbuhan saham (Abnormal Return) antara sebelum dan sesudah memperoleh sertifikasi ISO 14001.
