ABSTRACT The reality that occurrs shows a decrease in the interest of reading the Qur'an in the community. Based on the results of existing researches, there are several factors that influence the decrease of interest in reading the Qur'an. In today's globalized society, people want everything to be fast paced amid the busy schedule. While learning to read the Qur'an requires a process that is not short. Plus the interest in reading the Qur'an that decreases gives an impact on the ability to read the Qur'an declines. A quick and precise method is needed for time and energy efficiency. The focus of this research were: 1) how the application of An-Nahdliyah method in increasing the interest and ability of reading the Qur'an of students of TPQ Darul Huda?, 2) what were the factors that support and inhibit the application of An-Nahdliyah method in increasing the interest and ability to read the Qur'an of students of TPQ Darul Huda ?. This research used qualitative descriptive approach with case study research type. Techniques of data collection was using: 1) observation, 2) interviews, and 3) documentation. Informants were determined through purposive sampling. Data analysis was using qualitative descriptive through three stages namely: data reduction, data presentation, data verification. While the checking of data validity was using persistent observation and triangulation. The study results showed that the application of An Nahdliyah Method in TPQ Darul Huda was done with classical system and accompany of beats. The increase of interest of students could be seen from the increasing of: 1) students? interest of reading the Qur'an, 2) the satisfaction of the students, 3) students did not skip lessons, 4) students read the Qur'an without prompting, and 5) preference of students in reading the Qur'an rather than playing and joking. While the improvement of reading ability of the Qur'an of students also increased, it could be seen from the students who could not read the Qur'an previously became able to read the Qur'an and the reading was getting better and smoothier. Factors that supported the implementation of An-Nahdliyah method of learning the Qur?an of students of TPQ Darul Huda included: 1) the persistence of teachers in teaching, 2) encouragement of parents, 3) methods used, 4) the head of the foundation as a role model. While the factors that inhibited the implementation of the method of An-Nahdliyah in learning the Qur?an of students of TPQ Darul Huda included: 1) lack of support from parents, 2) the inadequate number of teachers. ABSTRAK Realitas yang terjadi menunjukkan adanya penurunan minat membaca Al-Qur?an ditengah masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang ada, terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan minat membaca Al-Qur?an.
