ABSTRACT Discipline is a condition that created and formed through the process of behavior series that shows the values of obedience, loyalty, and order. The emergence of the attitude of discipline is not the events that occur immediately. Discipline on person is not able to grow without any intervention from educators and to train or getting discipline themselves actually must be done by learners continuously. This effort is an effective way for students to understand the importance of discipline in life. This research was conducted in Ma?had Darul Hikmah MAN 1 Malang. The objectives in this research are; (1) to define ecological discipline students in Ma?had. (2) to know the efforts of Advisor Ma?had in increasing the discipline of students in the Ma?had. (3) to know supporting and resistance factors from the efforts of Advisor in increasing the discipline of students in the Ma?had Darul Hikmah MAN 1 Malang. This research used qualitative approach with data collection method, field observation, interview, and documentation. The analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis which including data reduction, presentation of data and draw conclusions. The results of this research showed that the discipline of the students in the Ma?had Darul Hikmah MAN 1 Malang is good. It was proved from the observations of the researcher and the results of the interview with some respondents. While, the effort of the Advisor in increasing their discipline students in Ma?had was through approaching, practicing, giving the example of awareness building, and assessing related to the discipline to the students in the Ma?had. Besides, there are something barried about as first as discipline awareness of the students that should be forced to be a discipline students, last in giving permission, many of parants contradict with rules of Ma?had Darul Hikmah. In fact, the solution of the problem above is first giving accompanying intensivety which is done by advisor to the students. Second giving a limited time of student?s permission a month. Last, giving statement letter for new students about parents agreement that students are obligated following the rules during the time decided. ABSTRAK Kedisiplinan adalah suatu kondisi yang tercipta dan terbentuk melalui proses dari serangkaian perilaku yang menunjukkan nilai-nilai ketaatan, kesetiaan, keteraturan dan atau ketertiban. Timbulnya sikap kedisiplinan bukan merupakan peristiwa yang terjadi seketika. Kedisiplinan pada seseorang tidak dapat tumbuh tanpa adanya intervensi dari pendidik. Dan untuk melatih atau membiasakan mendisiplinkan diri sebetulnya harus dilakukan secara terus menerus kepada diri peserta didik. Upaya ini benar-benar merupakan suatu cara yang efektif agar anak didik mudah mengerti arti penting kedisiplinan dalam hidup. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Ma?had Darul Hikmah MAN 1 Kota Malang. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah; (1) untuk mendiskripsikan kedisiplinan siswa di Ma?had. (2) untuk mengetahui upaya Murabbi-Murabbiah ma?had dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di Ma?had. (3) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dari upaya Murabbi-Murabbiah dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di Ma?had Darul Hikmah MAN 1 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data, observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dan analisis datanya menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kedisiplinan siswa di Ma?had Darul Hikmah MAN 1 Kota Malang sudah baik, hal ini terbukti dari pengamatan peneliti dan hasil wawancara dengan beberapa i
