ABSTRACT Life skill is broader than just the skill to work, more especially a manual skill. Life Skill education is an educational concept that aims to prepare learners to have the courage and willingness to face the life and life problems naturally without pressured feeling and then creatively find a solution and capable of solving it. To yield students who are active, critical and innovative needs a change in the learning activity. The selection of appropriate teaching methods is very influential to the effectiveness of teaching. As specified in the curriculum of 2013, namely by the scientific learning approach in which learners are expected to be more active in every learning process and are able to develop life skills. Strengthening the learning process is done through a scientific approach, namely learning that encourages students to be more able to observe, ask, try or collect the data, and communicate it. The purpose of this study was to: (1) Describe the Implementation of Scientific Approach in learning on the subject of Fiqh Class VIII-A in MTs Al-Ma'arif 01 Singosari, (2) Describe the development of Social Skill abilities of students in the learning process of Fiqh Class VIII-A, MTs Al-Ma'arif 01 Singosari, (3) Describe the impact of the implementation of the scientific approach in teaching the fiqh to develop the life skills of class VIII student at MTs Al Ma'arif 01 Singosari. To gain the above goal, it was used a qualitative approach with descriptive research type which was presented in the form of words or pictures. In the data collection the author used observation, interview and documentation methods. While the analysis, the author used qualitative descriptive method. From the research that had been done it could be concluded that the implementation of scientific approach to the subjects of fiqh to develop students' Life skills was good enough. It could be seen from the vivacity, cooperation and participation of students in learning. Although there were still obstacles when the learning process took place such as the lack of additional means of media, but the learning of Fiqh by using the scientific approach went smoothly. So the development process of life skills, especially in the development of students' social skills could improve the capabilities of communication and collaboration so that students were energetic in the learning process of Fiqh. ABSTRAK Kecakapan Hidup (life skill) lebih luas dari sekedar keterampilan bekerja, apalagi sekedar keterampilan manual. Pendidikan kecakapan hidup merupakan konsep pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik agar memiliki keberanian dan kemauan menghadapi masalah hidup dan kehidupan secara wajar tanpa merasa tertekan kemudian secara kreatif menemukan solusi serta mampu mengatasinnya.Untuk menghasilkan anak didik yang aktif, kritis dan inovatif perlu adanya perubahan dalam pembelajaran. Pemilihan metode mengajar yang tepat sangat berpengaruh kepada efektivitas pengajaran. Sebagaimana yang telah ditetapkan pada kurikulum 2013 yaitu dengan adanya pendekatan pembelajaran saintifik yang dimana diharapkan peserta didik agar lebih aktif dalam se
