ABSTRACT Education is a very important thing in this modern era that all requires thought, it does not depend on the material or money. In education there must be some obstacles on the face so that the process of teaching and learning is low. In the fisherman village in blimbing Subdistrict Paciran Lamongan, the society does not concern the education anymore, what they think is the only terms of the material, so they ignore an education especially for Islamic education. Many of the teenagers are dropped out of school, in order to earn money on the sea for their needs both to help their parents or for their own needs. The aim of this research is to expose: 1) Social codition of Blimbing society, Paciran, Lamongan 2) Cultivation Model of Islamic education in Blimbing Subdistrict Paciran Lamongan 3) The difficulties in the cultivation of Islamic education in Blimbing Subdistrict Paciran Lamongan regency. To achieve the objectives above, the researcher used qualitative research approaches. The technique used is the data collection technique Interview (interview), the techniques of observation, and technical documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with data reduction, display/presentation of the data, taking the conclusion and then verified. To test the validity of the data using the triangulation of the data. The results showed that: 1) community social conditions in accordance with the social conditions of Blimbing society is good, but the codition of the education is worse than other areas that its education is more advanced and many devotees are in the process of teaching and learning, 2) model of cultivation in Blimbing Subdistrict Paciran Lamongan has two models of Islamic education, the first is formal education such as school model, and the second one is the non formal education models such as TPA ( Children's education of Al-Qur'an), 3) the difficulties in the cultivation of Islamic education in the fisherman village of these two factors, the first internal factors, which is a factor from yourself. The second is an external factor which is a factor that influences from the outside such as the environment, and the economy of the family. ABSTRAK Pendidikan adalah suatu yang sangat penting di zaman sekarang yang semua membutuhkan pemikiran, bukan tergantung pada materi atau uang saja. Dalam pendidikan pasti ada kendala yang di hadapi sehingga proses belajar mengajar berjalan kurang baik. Di kampung Nelayan di Kelurahan blimbing Kecamatan Paciran Kabupaten Lamongan ini masyarakat bisa di katakana kurang mementingkan pendidikan, yang mereka fikirkan adalah dari segi materi saja sehingga pendidikan mereka abaikan khususnya pendidikan agama islam.
