ABSTRACT Family is the first and fundamental social instrument in which is the best place for children to grow up. Character of a child is formed as follows as how the parents teach and guide them. Religion guide in a family is very important because children can rise the quality for the application of Islamic tenets. Nevertheless, many violence cases towards children found in the advance of this era that are caused by the low of economy and the lack of religion knowledge. LKSA Harapan Ummat in Malang is a social institution which has well caring for family who has problems of lack of knowledge, and it has the special way in building the families which is concerned in religion knowledge building. The aim of this study is: (1) to describe the model of religion guiding and building pre-prosperous Muslim of the LKSA Harapan Ummat Malang?s families, (2) to know the implication of the religion guiding and building towards the pre-prosperous Muslim families of LKSA Harapan Ummat Malang, (3) to know what the supporting and not-supporting factors of the guiding and building religion towards pre-prosperous Muslim family of LKSA Harapan Ummat Malang. To achieve the aim of the study, this research uses qualitative research methodology which is concerned on field study. The key of the instruments is the researcher and the technic of collecting the data which is conducted by doing observation, interview, and other research methods. The data analysis is by reducing and explain the data, and drawing the conclusion. The result of this research shows that, (1) guiding and building pre-prosperous Muslim families of LKSA Harapan Ummat Malang uses two models, mechanic and organic models, in another hand, there are four methods used, andragogy, model, motivation, and rising awareness, (2) the implication of religion understanding towards pre-prosperous Muslim families encompasses the change of attitude and pray, (3) there are two kinds of factor of guiding and building towards pre-prosperous Muslim family, the first factor is the supporting factors which is divided into two kinds, internal and external factors. The internal factors cover the qualified supervisors and guide team, while for the external factors cover the awareness of the parents, the given motivation by the supervisors, volunteers, and the society?s figures. Another kind of the factor is the not-supporting factors in which the internal factor is the limit of the interaction and facilities, while for the external factor drawn as the surroundings? culture and the lack of confidence had by parents to propose their own opinion. ABSTRAK Keluarga merupakan lingkungan sosial pertama dan utama bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Karakter seorang anak terbentuk sesuai bagaimana masing-masing orangtua mendidiknya. Pembinaan agama dalam keluarga sangatlah penting karena anak dapat menigkatkan kualitas pengamalan ajaran Islam. Akan tetapi seiring perkembangan zaman banyak ditemukan kasus kekerasan terhadap anak yang disebabkan rendahnya ekonomi dan kurangnya pengetahuan agama.
