ABSTRACT The development of the Magic Disk Media on Islamic Education and Character Building aboutwalisongowas based on the fact that there are problems in Islamic education teaching and character building, as one delivery content of walisongo keep using conventional methods and use only textbooks.In addition, teaching materials encountered minimal uses include visual media or media on walisongo,the government focused on the preparation of Curriculum in 2013 only,focus of the government in 2013 curriculum is arrangging teaching material of Islamic Education and character building textbooks only, and malang city through KKG Religion publish only Al Falahmodule.The importance of the media as a delivery instrument for the students to understand the material presented in the book and existing modules,with media students can be motivated when learning independently. The purpose of this study in particular was developing media disk magic on Islamic religious education subject and walisongo character building that effective and motivate toward student 4th students SDN Tanjungrejo 3 Malang. The method that has been used in this research was the Research and Development and the model that has been used was Borg and Gall development design model. Borg and Gall development design Model has done more simply involves 5 main steps undertaken in this research as follows: (1) product analysis phase to be developed,(2) product development phase, (3) the validation, (4) Limited Trial Phase Test and Revision Products, (5) field trials phase.Product assessment subjects for textbook eligibility limited to 3 experts, namely content material expert,textbooks media expert and learning experts and the product trials target are 4th students SDN Tanjungrejo 3. The proved from the results of validation contents expert feasibility rate 85.5% excellent qualification, learning media expert validation eligibility rate 72,6%good qualification, expert validation eligibility rate 75,38% excellent qualifications.The results of the field test of the magic disk media products done by all 4th students of SDN Tanjungrejo 3 Malang showeda high rate of effectiveness is indicated by an increase in post-test results after using magic disk media28.75. In addition to strengthening the improvement of student achievement outcomes was analyzed with SPSS t-test results that show 15 sig. 0.000 less than 0.005,it can be said H0 denied and H1 granted so that there is a significant difference between the results of student achievement before and afterusing magic disk media. While the level of attractiveness of magic disk media has a high level of attractiveness as well, based onthe average student assessment against all components reached 86.4% excellent qualifications. Based on the overall results of data analysis,we can conclude that the learning media development fulfill requirement elements of learning, especially Islamic education andwalisongo Building Character subject in SDN Tanjungrejo 3 Malang.
