ABSTRACT Cooperative learning is an effective learning for student-centered. Learning methods Complete Sentence 'Brain-Atik sentence hiatus' is one of cooperative learning. The use of this method aimed to determine the effect on the students will be more leverage in learning. In this study, researchers used quantitative research. Research used to collect data from pretest and posttest. The design of this research by conducting experiments that form of instrument pretest and posttest in the experimental class. This study demonstrated the results showed that the experimental class t value is 15.752. When compared with t table it can be concluded that t (15.752)> t table (1.68). While the value of Sig (2-tailed) is a probability value / p value Paired T test showed results of 0.000 means there is a difference between the pre-test and post test results because the value 0.000 <0.05 with a confidence level of 95%. From this study it can be concluded that, Cooperative Learning strategies Methods Sentence Complete 'Brain-Atik hiatus sentence' can be seen significant differences between pretest and posttest results. Methods of cooperative learning techniques complete sentence DIY hiatus sentence effectively used in improving the understanding of the concept of materials science and able to enhance character education cooperation and responsibility fifth grade students Bustanul Ulum MI. In addition the results of this study can be suggested that further research conducted for instance the influence of a similar strategy against the affective character of student independence. Thus all three assessment domains can be used as a variable that is affected and attention to the factors that most influence on student learning outcomes ABSTRAK Pembelajaran kooperatif merupakan pembelajaran yang efektif karena berpusat pada siswa. Pembelajaran metode Complete Sentence ?Otak-Atik Kalimat Rumpang? adalah salah satu pembelajaran kooperatif. Penggunaan metode tersebut bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap siswa sehingga siswa menjadi lebih maksimal dalam belajarnya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian mengambil data berupa data hasil pretes dan postes. Rancangan penelitian ini dengan melakukan eksperimen yang berupa instrument pretest dan posttest pada siswa kelas V.
