(?). ??? ????? ????? ???????? ??? ?????? ?????? ?? ???? ???????. ABSTRACT Human have various characterictics and it can be seen from their attitude in daily life. In education aspect, family hold crucial role as the first hand to teach them basic things. Family have to protect their child from bad behavior or environment. Otherwise, parents do not stay close with their child in the house all the time. So to prevent those problems, Education Institution of Al-Quran Wardatul Ishlah come out and give a role to help student apply good attitude in daily life in order to develop program, vision and mission in the institution itself. It also creates parenting activities as strategy to build education good characteristics for students. The objectives of this research is to know: 1). Strategy of development character through parenting activity in Education Institution of Al-Quran Wardatul Ishlah. 2). Implication of education development character through parenting activity in Education Institution of Al-Quran Wardatul Ishlah. 3). Obstructions and solutions of education development character for students through parenting activity in Education Institution of Al-Quran Wardatul Ishlah. To achieve those objectives, the researcher uses qualitative research and qualitative descriptive approach. The data are taken from interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis using Miles and Huberman model that include how the process of data analysis are taken after all the collected become one. The results shows that: 1). Strategy of education to develop student character through parenting activity in Education Institution of Al-Quran Wardatul Ishlah involved (a). Parenting (b). Keep in touch with student?s parents to give knowledge how to teach their child and (c). workshop. 2). Implication that happen after applying the strategy: (a). Enthusiasm of student?s parent to join parenting activity (b). Student?s parent realize that education about development character is important and (c). There is Asatidz who creative enough to teach students about development character. 3). Obstruction that consist of: (a). Parenting activity include facility, infrastructure, theme, the committe preparation, audience and food, (b). Development character in Institution need more socialization, teachers, and parents attention. It also have to decrease uncountable report, (c). Development character in family has some obstructions such as business, education background, and how parents playing their roles. To solution of those obstructions are: (a). Evaluation from developer of parenting activity, (b). Evaluation from Asatidz at least once a week, (c).
