ABSTRACT Teaching and learning process can not be separated from the role of learning media, because the learning media is an integral part in the learning process. Therefore, learning media is considered very important, as well as Arabic language learning, especially in learning writing skills. Writing skills is one of the most important skills in learning Arabic language, but in the learning of Arabic language needs a variety of media in learning so it will be easy for those who are not used to writing Arabic language especially for beginners, so that students can increase motivation and interest in write. The word learning medium is a brain teaser game that is "fun" and "learning" that can refresh the brain so that the brain work again optimal. The formulation of the problem in this research is: How Influence of Media Usage Pieces of Word in writing skill at Junior High School Tarbiyatul Muballigin Al-Islamiyah Ngroto Pujon Malang? And How Effective is Media Usage Pieces The word in writing skill at Junior High School Tarbiyatul Muballigin Al-Islamiyah Ngroto Pujon Malang? In this research using quantitative experimental method using two groups, namely experimental class and control class with class VII B as experimental class, and VII A As control class, each class is 37 students. The instruments used are Observation, Interview, Documentation, Test (pre-test and post-test) and questionnaire. The results of the study were as follows: the lesson that was applied in the experimental class using word cut media, divided into each group that had been divided before and each consisted of 5 to 6 students. then look for the existing vocabulary on the Word Cut Media then write and refine the previously obtained vocabulary. Results obtained after use of medium Pieces of words in Effective writing skills writing. After going through t-test the result of t-count is 6.4. the result is greater than t-table (table significance) 5% = 1.9935 and 1% = 2,645 with exposure of the value t-test is acceptable. ABSTRAK Proses belajar mengajar tidak bisa lepas dari peran media pembelajaran, sebab media pembelajaran merupakan suatu bagian integral dalam proses belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran dianggap sangat penting, begitu juga dengan pembelajaran bahasa arab , khususnya dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis. Keterampilan Menulis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, akan tetapi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab perlu adanya variasi Media dalam pembelajaran sehingga akan tersasa mudah bagi mereka yang belum terbiasa menulis bahasa arab khususnya bagi pemula, sehingga siswa bisa meningkatkan motivasi dan minat dalam menulis. Adapun media pembelajaran potongan kata adalah sebuah permainan asah otak yang bersifat ? fun ? dan ? learning ? yang dapat menyegarkan otak sehingga kerja otak kembali optimal. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Seberapa Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Potongan Kata dalam keterampilan menulis di MTs Tarbiyatul Muballigin Al
