ABSTRACT Adolescence is a vulnerable stage of development that makes a person's character change according to the environment around because adolescence is a transition from children to adulthood. Students of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang are in their teenage years and each individual is oriented to be an outstanding student of course, but observation shows not a few of the students who often experience the inability to express opinions, ideas or ideas, difficulty actualize what there is in themselves and not confident because they feel not accepted in the environment. Some of these findings are a sign that students of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang need the concept of self and good interpersonal communication. The purpose of this research is to: 1) know the level of self-concept of students of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang; 2) to know the level of interpersonal communication student of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang; 3) to know the relationship between self-concept with student interpersonal communication force 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The method used is correlational quantitative method which is presented in the form of numbers. This research is used to test the correlation between independent variable that is self concept with dependent variable that is interpersonal communication. Subjects in this study are students of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang with the number of 61 students taken 25% of the total population of 242 students. From the results of the research, it is known that: 1) the level of self-concept of students of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is moderate with 74% percentage of 45 students; 2) the level of interpersonal communication of students of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is being with the percentage of 70% ie 43 students; 3) there is a significant positive correlation between self concept and interpersonal communication of student of class of 2017 Faculty of Psychology UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang equal to 66,3%. ABSTRAK Remaja merupakan tahapan perkembangan yang rentan menjadikan karakter seseorang berubah sesuai lingkungan sekitar karena remaja adalah masa transisi dari anak-anak menuju dewasa. Mahasiswa angkatan 2017 Fakultas Psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang berada pada usia remaja dan setiap individunya berorientasi menjadi mahasiswa berprestasi tentunya, namun observasi menunjukkan tidak sedikit dari mahasiswa tersebut yang sering mengalami ketidakmampuan dalam mengutarakan pendapat, ide-ide atau gagasan, kesulitan mengaktualisasikan apa yang ada dalam diri mer
