ABSTRACT This research development is conducted based on the fact from the interview with teacher of grade IV MIN 3 Malang Regency, shsaid that in the textbook that has been available, there is no mix of Islamic religious values but only consist of general knowledge. This makes the teacher feel that the material submitted is less than optimal and the teacher gives little understanding which applies the core competence number one on the spiritual child. The objectives of this research are: (1) to explain the process of developing thematic teaching materials based on the integration of Islam on theme 6 (Cita-citaku) to improve fourth grade students understanding of the concept in MIN 3 Malang Regency, (2) to explain the validity and the use of thematic materials based on the integration of Islami on theme 6 (Cita-citaku) to improve fourth grade students understanding of the concept in MIN 3 Malang Regency, (3) explain the effectiveness of use of thematic teaching materials based on the integration of Islam on the theme 6 (aspirations) to improve fourth grade students understanding of the concept in MIN 3 Malang Regency. This research uses research and development as a research design. This research refers to the Borg and Gall model developed using 7 research procedures, namely: research and data collection, planning, product draft development, initial field testing, product revision, field trials, and product revisions. The results of this research are (1) to produce thematic teaching materials based on the integration of Islam on theme 6 (Cita-citaku) to improve the understanding of the concept and to instill Islamic values in the students themselves, (2) thematic teaching materials using thematic-based has valid criteria with the results the validation of the thematic experts reached 90%, the result of validation of Islamic integration experts reached 88%, the results of the validation of the design experts reached 92%, the results of the validation of learning experts 84%, 97% and 98.76% student response, (3) the average result of learning experiment class 90 and control class 69.23. On the results of the manual t test with a significant level of 5% obtained results to> tt that is 5.883> 2.068 means H0 rejected and H1 accepted. This shows that the teaching materials developed are very effective to improve students' conceptual understanding ABSTRAK Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan berdasarkan kenyataan yang dilakukan wawancara dengan guru kelas IV MIN 3 Kabupaten Malang, mengatakan bahwa dalam buku ajar yang telah tersedia belum terdapat perpaduan nilai-nilai agama Islam melainkan hanya pengetahuan umum saja. Hal ini membuat guru merasa bahwa materi yang disampaikan kurang maksimal dan guru hanya sedikit menyampaikan pemahaman yang mengaplikasikan kompetensi inti nomer satu tentang spiritual anak. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk: (1) menjelaskan proses pengembangan bahan ajar tematik berbasis integrasi Islam pada tema 6 (Cita-citaku) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV MIN 3 Kabupaten Malang, (2) menjelaskan kevalidan penggunaan bahan ajar tematik berbasis integrasi Islam pada tema 6 (Cita-citaku) untuk meningkatkan pema
