ABSTRACT The problem that often arises in companies today is the lack of attention to the human aspect. Occupational safety and health is activities that ensure the creation of safe working conditions, avoid from physical and mental disorders through coaching and training, direction and control over the execution of the duties of the employees and the provision of assistance in accordance with applicable rules. Because public hospitals are a medical service, it is necessary to keep the employees working in public hospitals in a healthy state. The potential danger posed in hospitals is very large one of them contracting the patient's illness. This study aims to determine the effect of occupational safety and health (X1) employee performance (Y) through work stress (Z) at RSU Lirboyo Kediri. The analysis model used is Path Analysis. Previously, testing validity, and reliability, along with the test of classical assumptions on research data. Based on the results of the study, work safety affects the performance of employees, it is proved with a significance value of 0.019 or smaller than 0.05. Similarly, occupational health also affects employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 or less than 0.05. In this study also shows that job stress does not affect the performance of employees because of the research results can be known significance value of 0.115 or greater than 0.05. In this study, occupational safety and health has no effect on employee performance, thus it can be said that job stress is not as a mediating variable between safety and health on employee performance. ABSTRAK Masalah yang sering muncul dalam perusahaan saat ini adalah kurangnya perhatian terhadap aspek manusiawi. Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) adalah kegiatan yang menjamin terciptanya kondisi kerja yang aman, terhindar dari gangguan fisik dan mental melalui pembinaan dan pelatihan, pengarahan dan kontrol terhadap pelaksanaan tugas dari para karyawan dan pemberian bantuan sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Dikarenakan rumah sakit umum merupakan pelayanan medis, maka sangat perlu menjaga agar karyawan yang bekerja di rumah sakit umum tetap dalam kondisi yang selalu sehat. Potensi bahaya yang ditimbulkan di rumah sakit sangatlah besar salah satunya tertular penyakit pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (X1) kinerja karyawan (Y) melalui stres kerja (Z) di RSU Lirboyo Kediri. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah Path Analysis. Sebelumnya, dilakukan pengujian validitas, dan reabilitas, beserta uji asumsi klasik terhadap data penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Keselamatan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, hal itu terbukti dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,019 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05. Begitu juga dengan kesehatan kerja juga berpengaruh dengan kinerja karyawan dengan nilai signifikansi debesar 0,000 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dalam penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan karena dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,115 atau lebih besar dari 0,05. Pada penelitian ini keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan demikian dapat dikatan bahwa stres kerja bukan sebagai variabel mediasi antara keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.
