ABSTRACT Integrative thematic learning is a learning made with appropriate themes for the students? characteristics and its implementation uses integrated themes or integrated subjects. SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Batu is an institution implementing inclusive education for 35 students with special needs. This research aims to: (1) describe and analyze integrative thematic learning plan, (2) implement of integrative thematic learning, (3) describe obstacles and their solutions in applying integrative thematic learning for children with special needs in SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Batu. This research used qualitative research approach with design of case study. The techniques of collecting data used in this research are in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of this research were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and it was continued by checking the validity of the findings. The informants in this research are the principal, vice principal of curriculum, educators (classroom teachers), and special escort teachers. The results shows that: (1) There is no difference in the preparation of integrative thematic learning plan?s components, the development is done by the classroom teacher and special escort teacher of the strategy and the media that is used and its application (2) The implementation of integrative thematic learning includes pre-activity, whilst activity and post-activity. The whilst activity and post-activity are the same. There are several strategies to present the learning in whilst activity: the slow learners and mentally disabled students need a repetition in understanding, visually impaired children require original objects for studying the visual material, the activity of hearing impaired children is by increasing their vocabulary and the mentoring is still secreted for ADHD children (3) some of the obstacles are: Slow learners and mentally disabled students are still weak in counting and abstract understanding still; Visually impaired children still have problem with visual material understanding; Hearing impaired children are lack of vocabulary; and ADHD children have a problem with their mood or emotion. The solution for slow learners and mentally disabled students is by using original objects to make them understand about it and the teacher should give them additional explanation; For visually impaired children, the classroom teacher should give the explanation about abstract things and provide media and the classmates? description is important; the solution for hearing impaired children?s problem are by giving understanding to their parents to give and explain new vocabulary; and the solution for ADHD children is by creating a conducive atmosphere and keeping their good emotion ABSTRAK Pembelajaran tematik integratif adalah suatu pembelajaran yang
