ABSTRACT Humans are social beings which means that man can not live alone without the presence of others in the surrounding environment. Students as young intellectual candidates that are experiencing the learning process are expected to be excellent human resources, have responsibility in behaving and in accordance with the norms of society, high intellectual and can give an example to the community in behaving, such as helping each other, sharing, working together, but in the reality appears the gap between the expectations of society with the reality. It has happened among the students of psychology class of 2017 of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang, the observation showed there are the students who do not care about each other either with friends, lecturers, employees or surrounding areas. Some of these are signs that the students of psychology class of 2017 of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang need good emotional intelligence and prosocial behavior. The purposes of the research are to; 1) know the level of emotional intelligence of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang; 2) to know the level of pro-social behavior of of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang; 3) to know the relations between emotional intelligence with pro-social behavior of of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang The method used correlation quantitative method which is presented through numbers. The research used to test the correlation between independent variable, namely emotional intelligence with dependent variable, namely prosocial behavior. Subjects in this study were of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang with a total of 61 students that were taken 25% of the total of 242 students The research results showed that; 1) the level of emotional intelligence of of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang has medium category with percentage of 71% of 45 students; 2) the level of student's pro-social behavior of of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang has medium with the percentage of 67% of 41 students; 3) there was a significant posistif relation between emotional intelligence with pro-social behavior of the students of psychology class of 2017 of Faculty of Psychology of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim of Malang with resul
