The question that arises in this research is how the shape of synonyms and antonyms in Surah al-falaq and an-nass and what the cause of synonyms and antonyms in Surah al-falaq and an-nass. Given these question then there are benefits that can be taken that determine the shape of synonyms and antonyms in Surah al-falaq and an-nass and the reasons why the incidence of synonyms and antonyms in Surah al-falaq and an-nass. Limits of this study is about synonyms and antonyms, wide-ranged and expert opinion and surah al-falaq and an-nass, commentary and related meaning. Type of this research is the analysis deskripstive. The source consists of a main resources and support resources. The technique of data collection of the study library that all the data obtained from the books searchable on the results read. As for the collection of data from multiple sources associated with the title is about synonyms and antonyms. And how to analyze it is descriptive analysis. The results of this study according to which there is the problem of synonyms and antonyms shape between surah by surah, synonyms and antonyms between sentences with a sentence or number with the number, shape synonyms and antonyms between lafad with lafad. And the cause of synonyms and antonyms there are two causes of intrinsic and extrinsic ABSTRAK Tidak ada batas dalam mengkaji tentang makna, karena mengkaji makna sangat luas dan tergantung pada susunan kalimat. Begitu juga dalam mengkaji makna al-qur?an yang membutuhkan beberapa disiplin ilmu yang berhubungan dengan makna al-qur?an seperti tafsir sorof dan semantik. Dalam skripsi ini menggunakan teori semantik tentang sinonim dan antonim. Sinonim yaitu persamaan kata, kata sinonim berarti mirip atau sama makna. Sedangkan antonim yaitu perbedaan. Kata sinonim berarti berlawanan makna. Pertanyaan yang timbul dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana bentuk sinonim dan antonim dalam surah al-falaq dan an-nass dan apa penyebab terjadinya sinonim dan antonim dalam surah al-falaq dan an-nass. Dengan adanya pertanaan tersebut maka ada manfaat yang bisa diambil yaitu mengetahui bentuk dari sinonim dan antonim dalam surah al-falaq dan an-nass serta sebab sebab timbulnya sinonim dan antonim dalam surah al-falaq dan an-nass. Batas dari penelitian ini yaitu tentang sinonim dan antonim, macam-macamnya serta pendapat para pakar dan surah al-falaq dan an-nass, tafsirnya dan yang berhubungan dengan makna. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah analisis deskripstive. Adapun sumbernya terdiri dari suber utama dan sumber pendukung. Adapun teknik pengumpulan datanya dari kajian perpustakaan yaitu semua datanya diperoleh dari buku-buku yang dicari dari hasil membaca. Adapun pengumpulan datanya dari beberapa sumber yang berhubungan dengan judul yaitu tentang sinonim dan antonim. Dan cara menganalisisnya yaitu analisis deskriptif.
