ABSTRACT The study of language acquisition is an essential part of psycholinguistic which is mainly talk about first language acquisition. It is usually called as mother tongue, while second language acquisition is concern on language learning. Therefore, language acquisition is a process which human being is helped to upgrade their skill in understanding, producing, and using words for comprehension and communication. Besides, it also explains the relations between linguistic and psychology, in order to tell the readers that language acquisition is a part of psycholinguistic. In this research, the researcher will examine second language acquisition which is focused on mufrodat acquisition towards 9th grade students of senior high school in Ploso Pacitan which belong to psycholinguistic acquisition. This research uses descriptive-qualitative method which belongs to field research and describes the problem of the study in detail. It because the researcher interacts with the objects directly. In other hand, the technique which is used by the researcher to collect the data is field research. That is used to get data from various sources, such as: literatures, books which are related to the topic of this research. The results of this research are Tri Wahyuni acquires 6 mufrodat, Fajar Nur Azizah acquires 9 mufrodat, Ainur Rohman acquires 12 mufrodat, Aditia Kurniawan acquires 11 mufrodat, Musrini acquires 5 mufrodat, Siswanto acqires 10 mufrodat, Alfiah Munawaroh acquires 12 mufrodat, Akhi Defri acquires 9 mufrodat, Tri Heriawan acquires 13 mufrodat, Yatimatul Mutmainah acquires 7 mufrodat, Dini Ardiansah acquires 9 mufrodat, Yudi Suliswati acquires 11 mufrodat. From the result, the reseacher get their final score, such as: Tri Wahyuni and Siswanto get jayyid , Fajar Nur Azizah and Aditia Kurniawan get jayyid jiddan and Ainnur Rohmah and Musrini get muntaz. The researcher can make conclusion that there are some factors which influence them to get mufrodat, those are: motivation, intellegence, age, formal presentation and environment. ABSTRAK Kajian dalam pemerolehan bahasa merupakan ranah kajian penelitian yang sangat penting dakam psikolingguistik. yang nama membahas tentang pemerolehan bahasa pertama, yang di sebut juga dengan bahasa ibu. Dan pemerolehan bahasa kedua yang sangat cenderung dengan pembelajaran bahasa. Maka dari itu pemerolehan bahasa adalah proses manusia mendapatkan kemampuan untuk menangkap, menghasilkan, dan menggunakan kata untuk pemahaman dan komunikasi. Selain itu juga menjelaskan hubungan yang sebenarnya antara lingguistik dan psikoligi. sehingga para pembaca dapat berfikir bahwasanya psikolingguistik adalah pemerolehan bahasa. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti akan membahas tentang pemerolehan bahasa kedua yang di fokuskan pada pemerolehan mufrodat tarhadap siswa MA kelas IX di ploso pacitan yang merupakan kajian Analisis Psikolingguistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian diskriptif-kualitatif yang bersifat menggambarkan secara jelas dan terperinci terhadap masalah yang diteliti, mencatat, serta menganalisis sementara tehnik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan adalah study lapangan yang pengumpulan datanya berasal dari berbagai sumber yang
