Abstract :
INDONESIA: Penyakit kanker terkenal sebagai penyakit yang sulit untuk disembuhan, akan tetapi mempunyai kecenderungan peningkatan pasien setiap tahunnya. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan akan penyakit kanker ketika masih stadium dini. Perancangan Rumah Sakit khusus Kanker merupakan suatu tempat untuk pengobatan dan perawatan pasien penderita kanker serta sebagai solusi untuk masyarakat mengetahui dan mendeteksi kanker sejak stadium dini sehingga pengobatan lebih optimal dan didapatkan hasil yang memuaskan. Jangka waktu yang relatif lama pada saat pengobatan dan perawatan penyakit kanker membutuhkan suatu tindakan/ pendekatan khusus supaya pasien kanker merasa nyaman dan tenang selama proses perawatan di rumah sakit. Oleh sebab itu, maka penulis memiliki ide atau gagasan untuk merancang rumah sakit khusus kanker dengan menggunakan suatu pendekatan healing environment, yaitu suatu objek yang mampu menciptakan suatu desain lingkungan perawatan yang memaksimalkan penyembuhan fisik dan psikis pasien dengan menggunakan media lingkungan alam. Unsur alam dapat dirasakan melalui indra yang dapat membantu dalam melihat, mendengar dan merasakan keindahan alam yang didesain. Hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi psikologis pasien yang membuat pasien merasakan kenyaman dan tenang. Rumah sakit khusus kanker ini terletak di Malang dan diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi penyembuhan untuk pasien kanker terutama di Propinsi Jawa Timur dan sekitarnya. ENGLISH: Poor Cancer as a disease that is notoriously difficult to be cured, but has the tendency of increase of patients each year. One contributing factor is the lack of knowledge of the cancer when it is still early stage. The design of a special Cancer Hospital is a place for the treatment and care of patients with cancer as well as solutions for the community to observe and detect cancer since the early stages so that more optimal treatment and obtained satisfactory results. The relatively long period of time at the time of the treatment and care of cancer requires a special approach to action/so that cancer patients feel comfortable and calm during the process of treatment in the hospital. Because of that, then the authorhas an idea or idea to design specialized Cancer Hospital by using an approach healing environment, that is, an object that is capable of creating an environmental design treatments that maximize the physical and psychic healing patients with the use of the media the natural environment. Elements of nature can be experienced through the senses that can help in the see, hear and feel the natural beauty that is designed. It will affect the psychological patients that make patients feel the comfort and calm. Specialized Cancer Hospital is located in the Malang and is expected to be the solutionof healing for cancer patients particularly in East Java province and surrounding areas.
