ABSTRACT In Arabic learning, known as the four skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. But in general learning Arabic has not reached the expected goal, due to several factors, among which the methods, media, learning models, strategies, curriculum and student background. In the process of learning, students find it difficult to understand the material in Arabic, one of which is their reading skills. So it takes the appropriate learning method possible to help students understand the material being taught. In this study, researchers used a model of Jigsaw cooperative learning strategies in teaching reading skills. This jigsaw strategy is the way students share their knowledge and experiences with other groups. With the aim to make the learning process easy and enjoyable. The formulation of the problem in this research is 1). How to use the model jigsaw cooperative learning strategy to improve reading skill MA Bilingual Batu? 2). How much the influence of the model jigsaw cooperative learning strategy to improve reading skill MA Bilingual Batu? The method used in this study is a research method experiment with quantitative approach and teridiri of the two groups, the first group of non-experimental class (control) and the second group experimental class. The instruments used in data collection while the instrument is used in collecting data documentation, observation and tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. Either the search results indicate: 1) in Arabic language teaching process in cooperative way script, that students feel the enthusiasm and desire and driving the education reading skill, otherwise they feel easily in oral expression, because in the process of teaching skill to read in a way that makes the process students can script cooperative education enjoyable and comfortable and managed. 2.) research results indicate that the result of statistical t = 6,78 then the researcher set t-table then the researcher examined the existing consequence of freedom (degree of freedom) of t-table found that result in level 1 % = 2.39 and so more moral level result 5% = 1,67, in the sense that H1 is acceptable means to satisfy this search is admissible. The conclusion that learning reading skills by using Jigsaw model of cooperative learning strategies can improve students' abilities in reading well, use appropriate vocabulary, pronunciation of the letter and help students understand the content of the reading text. Therefore, in view of need for Arabic teacher pay enough attention to the use of this strategy ABSTRAK Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dikenal dengan empat maharah, yaitu mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca dan menulis. Akan tetapi secara umum penmbelajaran bahasa Arab belum mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan, dikarenakan beberapa faktor yang mempen
