ABSTRACT Test analysis is an activity that determines the effectiveness of a test. Through this activity, there will be advantages and disadvantages found from question items used. Thus, analysis test is defined as one of evaluation tools. Evaluation is important in learning process. Learning without evaluation activities will lose the meaning because the teacher would not have gained important information about the level of objectives achievment, the level of mastery learning materials, the strength or weakness of the students in learning. Similarly, Intensive Arabic Program (PPBA) at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang. This program does not escape from the evaluation activities that aim to find out about student achievement and mastery of Arabic students against four language proficiency: They are listening, reading, speaking, and writing. However, from the results of the third marhalah at istima? skill of the PPBA test, it is known that there are still many students whose value is not good enough. In this study the authors try to analyze about the listening skill at mid-term test questions of PPBA Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang because the first skill which is used to interact with other people is listening, thus this kind of skill becomes the most important skill in the study of Arabic. The goals of this research are (1) to measure the level of validity tests of listening skill at mid-term test in Intensive Arabic Program of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang 2015/2016, (2) to measure the level of difficulty of the test of listening skill at mid-term test in Intensive Arabic Program of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang 2015/2016, (3) to measure the levels of different power test of listening skill at mid-term test in Intensive Arabic Program of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang 2015/2016. The research methods that used in this research is quantitative descriptive method because data is analyzed and described a number of descriptive. Method of data collection in this research is the documentation (in the form of test questions, answer keys and student exam sheets). The analysis data use evaluation formulas reserved and assisted with the computer program Anates version 4. The results of this study are: (1) the level of the validity of a test question of listening skill at mid-term test in Intensive Arabic Program of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang 2015/2016 indicates that 96% of the reserved test is valid.
