Abstract :
ABSTRAK Keberadaan Komite Sekolah termaktub dalam UU Nomor 25 Tahun 2000 tentang Program Pembangunan Nasional, yang memiliki tanggungjawab dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Komite sekolah dibentuk untuk mewadahi dan meningkatkan partisipasi stakeholder untuk turut serta dalam perencanaa, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program sekolah secara proporsional untuk menunjang penyelenggaraan pelayanan pendidikan yang bermutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan gambaran kinerja komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, pengontrol, mediator dan mutu layanan pendidikan di SMA Negeri se-Kota Pasuruan, menjelaskan tentang pengaruh kinerja komite sekolah sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, pengontrol, dan mediator terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan. Hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa (1) kinerja komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan tergolong sangat baik (61,07%), kinerja komite sebagai pendukung tergolong sangat baik (72,4%), kinerja komite sebagai pengontrol tergolong sangat baik (78,5%), kinerja komite sebagai mediator tergolong sangat baik (63,08%), dan mutu layanan pendidikan tergolong baik (53,6%), (2) ada pengaruh kinerja komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,019, (3) ada pengaruh kinerja komite sebagai pendukung terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,017, (4) ada pengaruh kinerja komite sebagai pengontrol terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,027, (5) ada pengaruh kinerja komite sebagai mediator terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,012, (6) ada pengaruh secara simultan kinerja komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, pengontrol, dan mediator terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan dengan hasil nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002. Dengan demikian, kinerja komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, kinerja komite sebagai pendukung, kinerja komite sebagai pengontrol, kinerja komite sebagai mediator memiliki andil terhadap mutu layanan pendidikan. Sehingga sudah seharusnya Komite Sekolah terus meningkatkan kinerjanya dengan fungsinya masing-masing guna meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan yang akhirnya dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan itu sendiri ABSTRACT The existence of the School Committee contained in Law No. 25 Year 2000 on the National Development Program, which has the responsibility to provide education. The school committee was formed to facilitate and increase the participation of stakeholders to participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of school programs in proportion to support the implementation of quality education services. This study aims to clarify the picture of the performance of the committee as a conduit of consideration, support, controller, mediator and quality of educational services in SMA as the city of Pasuruan, describes the effect of the performance of the school committee as a conduit of consideration, support, control, and mediator on the quality of educational services. The results of data analysis proves that (1) the performance of the committee as giving consideration classified as very good (61.07%), the performance of the committee as a supporter as very good (72.4%), the performance of the committee as a controller as very good (78.5%) , the performance of the committee as a mediator as very good (63.08%), and the quality of education services are classified as good (53.6%), (2) there is influence the performance of the committee as giving consideration to the quality of education services as evidenced by the results of significance value of 0.019 , (3) there is influence the performance of the committee as a supporter of the quality of education services as evidenced by the results of significance value of 0.017, (4) there is influence the performance of the committee as a controller of the quality of education services as evidenced by the results of significance value of 0.027, (5) no effect performance of the committee as a mediator of the quality of education services as evidenced by the results of significance value of 0.012, (6) there is influence of simultaneous performance of the committee as a conduit of consideration, support, control, and mediator on the quality of educational services with the result of the significant value of 0.002. Thus, the performance of the committee as a conduit of consideration, the committee's performance as a support, the performance of the committee as a controller, the performance of the committee as a mediator has contributed to the quality of educational services. So should the School Committee continues to improve its performance with their respective functions in order to improve the quality of educational services that can ultimately improve the quality of education itself
